Don’t be restricted to the stock of a single dealer

When you walk into a dealership, the dealer will want to sell you the stock on his floor. The dealer is already invested in the stock and has no interest in offering you a wider variety. Every vehicle we finance goes through the following tests:

  • DEKRA/AA – a 101 point physical test of the vehicle. This will highlight any physical damage or wear & tear that could change your mind about the car. If you change your mind, we simply find you another vehicle (remember, we are not invested in that specific vehicle!).

  • TransUnion HPI check. This electronic test determines the following about the car you are about to buy:
    • Has it ever been in an accident?
    • Has it ever been reported stolen?
    • Is it still financed elsewhere?
    • Who were the previous registrants?
    • Is the odometer reading correct?

    TransUnion is the same company that brings you ITC. The have accurate data on most vehicles on our roads. No ordinary dealership will ever want you to see the above reports. We don’t mind – if it changes your mind about your purchase, we simply find you another car.

This is called “DIC”. The higher the interest rate, the higher the DIC. It is in the dealer’s interest to offer you the higher interest rate.
